Beware The Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadow perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them or they’ll send The Talon for your head.
Today we are here to talk about the latest DC Universe Animated movie, “BATMAN vs ROBIN”. The follow up to 2014’s “Son of Batman”
This is the second DC Animated movie for 2015-following up January’s “Justice League: Throne of Atlantis” and preceding “Justice League: Of Gods and Monsters” later this year.
The official synopsis for Batman vs Robin from iMDB:
While Damian Wayne struggles to cope with Batman’s no-killing rule, he soon starts to believe that his destiny lies within a secret society known as, The Court of Owls.
The voice cast returns from Son of Batman and Throne of Atlantis. We also see Kevin Conroy mark the fourth DC Character he has voiced (Batman in TAS / Justice League / Beyond / Public Enemies / Apocalypse, and the Arkham games, Phantom Stranger and Batman of Zurr En Argh in Batman The Brave and the Bold) as he debuts as Thomas Wayne. There is a scene where he is telling young Bruce the Court of Owls rhyme, and its bone chilling.
The language is toned down from Throne of Atlantis, which is good-and the action is beefed up.
WE GET THRASHER SUIT BATMAN!!! HOLY CRAP ON A STICK!!
Lines of dialogue ripped right from the “Court of Owls” comic by Scott Snyder and Greg Cappulo.
Overall, check this movie out-as a fan of the Court of Owls-this movie was fantastic and met every expectation!
